A 17-year-old terrorist wounded three Israeli soldiers in a gun battle in the Shati refugee camp in the Gaza Strip last night before he was shot to death trying to escape in a nearby citrus grove. The terrorist, known as Jihad, is believed to have been the leader of terrorist activities in the Gaza Strip. He opened fire with an automatic weapon and threw hand grenades as an Israeli patrol approached the house where he was hiding. The injured soldiers were evacuated by helicopter. The rest of the patrol chased Jihad from house to house until he was cornered and shot.
