Three thousand Greek Jews today witnessed the raising of the Israeli standard over the Israeli consulate here by a Jewish Boy scout and a girl survivor of the Oswiecim death camp. The flag-raising ceremony was marked by an ovation on the part of the spectators and the sing of Jewish songs. The ceremony ended with special prayers recited by the Deputy Chief Rabbi of Athens.
