Three thousand Jewish immigrants, together with their wives and children under the age of eighteen, will be permitted to enter Palestine during the three-month period ending December 31, it was announced here today in an official order appearing in the Palestine Gazette. One hundred non-Jewish immigrants will be admitted during the same period.

The immigration order also provides for the admission of 1,000 Jewish refugee children from France, if they can be extricated from that country and transported to Palestine.

The Palestine Gazette points out that under the quota of 75,000 certificates available over five years beginning April 1, 1939, for immigrants and refugees, 38,000 had arrived by Sept. 30, including 19,481 illegal immigrants who were authorized to remain.
