The sum of $3,597,560 to aid in expatriation and rehabilitation of Germany’s Jews has been raised in the last eleven months by the British section of the Council for German Jewry, it was announced here today.
Of the total, $1,573,200 has already been allocated to Palestine and other emigration projects, for work in Germany and for assistance to refugees in England.
The Council estimates that by the end of the year 20,000 German Jews will have been aided through emigration and other projects it is furthering.
