Thirty-six German Jewish refugees selected for settlement in the Dominican Republic will arrive in New York on a British steamship on Thursday, it was announced here today. They are the first large group selected for the Sosua project to reach this hemisphere since Italy entered the war. Half of them are young people listed as “trainees” and the others are “settlers.”
