Thirty-eight young Jews were sentenced by a military court today to prison terms ranging from two to ten years for possession of explosives in violation of Palestine emergency regulations. The sentences followed a three-day mass trial.
Twenty-eight of the defendants received ten-year terms, six of them five-year sentences and the four girls among them, all of whom are 17 years old, got two-year terms. The youths were arrested in the fields near Rosh Pina on Nov. 19.
