Palestine visas were today refused by the British Consul General here to 39 Jews holding immigration certificates entitling them to enter the country as unqualified workers.

Despite the fact that their passports showed otherwise, the Consul General alleged that they are more than 35 years old, and hence, according to law, not qualified to enter Palestine on a labor certificate.
