Four German Jewish professors are among the seven leading European art scholars engaged by New York University to give lecture courses in the history of fine arts, it was announced today by Prof. Walter W.S. Cook, chairman of the Graduate Department of the History of Fine Arts. They are: Walter Friedlander of Frieburg, Dr. Karl Leo Heinrich Lehmann-Hartleben of Munster, Dr. Erwin Panofsky of Hamburg and Dr. Julius S. Held of Berlin.
