4 Italian Jews Get Jail Terms, Fined for Failing to List Race

Four Jews in Genoa have been sentenced to five to fifteen days’ imprisonment and fined 100 lire each for failing to register as members of the Jewish race, it was disclosed today, in the first reported prosecution of such nature. Numerous Italian Jews have received prison terms and fines for retaining the services of non-Jewish domestics.
