A group of some 400 recent immigrants who “invaded” and took over an immigrant work village near Tel Aviv were today ousted by the police. They later demonstrated before the Jewish Agency office here.

The immigrants, coming from Galilee where they live in another work village, demanded that they be recognized as permanent residents of the village near Tel Aviv. The Agency refused, pointing out that the immigrants had been provided with permanent-type homes in the Galilee region.
