More than 400 Turkish Jews left Istanbul this week carrying passports allowing them to enter various European countries. Although the passports bear incorruptions specifically prohibiting the Jews from proceeding to Israel, all of these emigrants are determined to reach the Jewish state in whatever way they can.

Two contingents of Jews, consisting of 150 persons each, will embark on two Turkish vessels within a few days for European ports of call. They also hold passports barring then from entering Israel.
