A group of 410 Jewish immigrants from Hungary left here for Venice, Italy, where they will embark on the Israel transport Komemiut which will take them to Haifa.
To date a total of 1,960 Hungarian Jewish immigrants left this country for Israel under terms of the Israel-Hungarian emigration agreement. About half of the emigrants were women and the rest were men and children.
