Refugee immigration to the United States totalled 4,105 during June, the National Refugee Service announced today. The June figure was nearly two and one half times the number who arrived during May.
Reports reaching the agency revealed that a high level of immigration is expected during August, since boats clearing Spanish and Portuguese ports during the first 10 days of August carried 2,000 emigres.
