A group of 47 American Jewish youth left here today for Israel for a year of study, travel and work in a program of the Young Judaea, the Zionist youth organization sponsored by the Zionist Organization of America and Hadassah.
Included in the program will be four months of formal study at Young Judaea’s Jerusalem Institute, where the youths will study Hebrew, Jewish history and the Bible, A period of living and working on agricultural settlements, and special interest periods during which each participant may choose his own occupational interest, are also part of the Young Judaea course.
