The development of a program to strengthen Jewish religious and communal life in this country will be the main theme of the 49th annual convention of the Rabbinical Assembly of America, which opens here tomorrow. The three-day parley will be attended by 200 members of the Assembly.
The contention will also give final instructions to its four-man delegation to Israel. Among the reports to be heard at the convention will be the report of the organization’s progress during the past year and the effects of contemporary technological problems on the American rabbinate.
