The expert commission of the League of Nations Council to study Norway’s proposal for the establishment of a special refugee organization under the aegis of the League will include one member each from Great Britain, France, Norway, Czechoslovakia, and probably also Switzerland, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learned today.
In submitting a report on the nominations, the representative of Ecuador stated the nomination committee was anxious to secure as members of the expert commission “persons possessing the requisite qualifications but who, at the same time, are not associated directly with organizations dealing with refugees.
The expert commission will meet in Geneva in December to draft its report, it was learned here today.
