Five Arab terrorists were captured this afternoon on the Golan Heights by an Israeli patrol. The five crossed the Syrian line into the Heights in the central section of the demarcation line near Houshaniyeh. They were armed with Kalashnikoff automatic assault rifles and hand grenades. There were no casualties to the Israeli patrol.
In the interrogation the five terrorists said that their crossing of the Syrian line was carried out in full knowledge and agreement of the Syrian Army. It is known that unlike the Lebanese border line the Syrians are maintaining a rigid control over the front line and any passage of Arab terrorists must have the approval of the military commanders. This was proved again today.
