A delegation of 500 Jews who fought as partisans during the war against the Nazis will participate in the unveiling ceremonies of the Warsaw Ghetto monument which will take place next Monday, April 19, the fifth anniversary of the Ghetto revolt.
Meanwhile, work on the memorial is going ahead at an accelerated pace and it is expected that the monument will be completed by the end of the week. The monument’s facade will be bronze while black marble, imported from Sweden, will serve as the pedestal.
