About 500 French-speaking Jewish students will leave for studies in Israel at the end of July under full scholarships enabling them to attend Israeli universities. About two-thirds of the group are members of the North African and French Sephardic Jewish community. The program is under the direction of the Israel Students Authority, a joint Israel Government and Jewish Agency body.
