More than 500 Jewish refugee immigrants arrived here today on the Marine Perch from the American zone of Germany.
The vessel carried a total of 721 immigrants of all religions. The Joint Distribution Committee assisted 310 Jews while the HIAS and other organizations aided most of the other Jewish refugees. They were met at the pier by relatives and representatives of HIAS, J.D.C., and the United Service for New Americans.
