More than 5,000 persons attended a mass meeting here, called by the Community Relations Committee of the Los Angeles Jewish Federation-Council, to endorse a resolution expressing the Jewish community’s concern over the threat to peace in the Middle East. A copy of the resolution was forwarded to the consul-general of Israel, Avshalom Caspi, for transfer to Prime Minister Levi Eshkol.
