Nearly 5,000 Jewish residents of Central New York attended the fourth annual picnic and open house all day this Sunday on the grounds of the Jewish Home for the Aged of which Charles Silverman was the chairman of arrangements. Among those who participated were residents of Syracuse, Utica, Auburn, Oswego, Rome, Binghamton, Oneida, Schenectady, Elmira and Albany. All the proceeds from the outing will be used for the maintenance of the Home during the coming year.
