A new $500,000 academic center at Yeshivat Hadarom was dedicated here today in the presence of Government officials, religious leaders and the delegates who attended the conference of the Rabbinical Council of America which concluded in Jerusalem this weekend.

Construction of the center, which replaces temporary quarters used by the religious academic institution, was financed by private subscriptions from Orthodox congregations and individual donations. Founded 10 years ago along the pattern of American yeshivot, Yeshivat Hadarom has already graduated a number of Israelis who teach religious and secular studies in institutions throughout the country.
