With $52,278 raised out of a quota of $75,000, directors of the Mt. Sinai hospital campaign voted to continue the drive indefinitely with a selected special committee. Hope was expressed that the $75,000 goal may still be reached. Over 700 workers, both Jewish and Gentile, joined in the campaign to free the hospital of a two years’ deficit totalling nearly $75,000.
