At a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, held recently, the report of Dr. Cyrus Adler, president, showed that the academic year which just closed had an enrollment in the Rabbinical Department of the Seminary of eighty students, exclusive of the post-graduate department; in the main department of the Teachers Institute, one hundred and sixty-one students; and in the extension department of the Teachers Institute, three hundred and forty students.

Roeder, who was a member of the Board of Directors of the Seminary since its reorganization in 1902, a member for ten years of the Board of the Jewish Theological Seminary Association before the reorganization, and a supporter of the Seminary since its foundation.
