60 Demonstrators Ejected by Police in London After They Try to Prevent Mosley Meeting

Sixty demonstrators barricaded themselves in a London county schoolhouse in the East End today in an effort to prevent Sir Oswald Mosley, chief of the fascist and anti-Semitic British Union movement, from delivering a speech, Hundreds of other demonstrators paraded outside in the streets.

Police reinforcements were called up and after an hour’s struggle succeeded in ejecting the demonstrators. Several persons were injured in the sharp scuffling.
