Vladimir Jabotinsky, leader of the League of Zionist Revisionists, was feted last night at a banquet given in his honor by a number of his friends. M. M. Ussishkin, director of the Jewish National Fund, Dr. N. Slousch, Jewish archaeologist, S. Schwartz and others delivered addresses welcoming Mr. Jabotinsky.
Jabotinsky, responding to the addresses of greeting, gave an analysis of his views on the present situation of the Zionist movement. The address, which contained several references in the nature of a personal confession, stirred the audience.
Dr. Meyuchas greeted the leader of the Zionist Revisionists on behalf of the Jerusalem Jewish City Council and on behalf of the National Council of Palestine Jewry.
Six thousand persons were present at a lecture which Jabotinsky delivered yesterday afternoon at the Maccabee sport grounds here.
Fritz Kreisler, violin virtuoso, narrowly escaped death or serious injury Monday evening in a taxicab collision in Belfast as he was leaving for Glasgow. Scotland. Kreisler was showered with broken glass, but was not injured.
