In the course of the first nine months of 1926, 101,117 emigrants left Poland for other European countries, according to statistics published by the Emigration Department of the Government of Poland.
Those who left for France numbered 53,935. 43,065 went to Germany, 999 to Denmark. 1,596 to Belgium and 1,522 to other European countries.
In addition. 37,784 emigrants left for countries overseas, including 5,143 to the United States, 14,163 to Canada, 8,917 to the Argentine, 1,935 to Brazil, 6,170 to Palestine and 1,456 to other countries. The data for the remaining three months have not yet been published.
