7 Brooklyn Residents Injured in High Speed Collision of Two Cars

A collision between a taxicab and a passenger automobile at New York avenue and Pacific street, Brooklyn, yesterday resulted in injuries for seven residents of that borough.

All of the injured persons were riding in the taxicab. They are Mrs. Delia Cohen, 26, 2324 Sixty-first street; Rubin Lederwarg, 33, 2058 Union street; Boris Newman, 35, 2842 West Twenty-third street; Bessie Rose, 30, 2842 West Twenty-third street; Ida Newman, 26, 2817 West Twenty-fourth street, and Yetta Newman, 50, 2842 West Twenty-third street.

According to witnesses the taxicab was struck by the passenger car whose driver failed to stop. The passenger car, traveling at high speed, shot across Pacific street, striking the front end of the taxicab and knocking it against a tree.
