Some 70 Israeli firms are exhibiting products, including agricultural machinery, cars, trucks, radios, washing machines, chemicals and drugs, at the International Fair which opened at Izmir today.
Twenty-six foreign countries are participating in the fair and September 10 has been set aside as a special “Israel” day. The Israeli participants have been allocated a quota of $1,000,000 by the Ministry of Commerce, for importation of goods exhibited at the fair over and above the regular trade agreement between Turkey and Israel.
