Leading educators, Nobel prizewinners and public figures joined 1,000 persons in commemorating the tenth anniversary of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University at a dinner tonight at the American Hotel in New York.
The dinner honored Dr. Samuel Belkin, president of Yeshiva University, for his role in the creation and development of the medical school. More than $7,000,000 in gifts was announced at the affair, to be used for further development of the College. Messages of congratulations were read from President Johnson; Levi Eshkol, Prime Minister of Israel; Aolai Stevenson, and other notables in government, education and science. Senator Maurine B. Neuberger (Dem., Oregon) and Dr. Ernst B, Chain, Nobel Laureate from Britain, were the principal speakers.
