A gift of $7,500 in the campaign to raise $125,000 for a new home for aged and orphaned Jews in Worcester was announced by drive officials today. The donation is claimed to be the largest single contribution ever made to a Jewish cause in this city. Except to say that he was a prominent local merchant, directors of the campaign would not divulge the name of the donor.
