The number of Jews emigrating to the Holy Land from Germany reached 7,896 last year, the Palestine Office reported today, making a total Jewish emigration of 38,500 in the years between 1933 and 1936.
Last year’s emigrants included 5,088 Jews of German nationality, 1,385 Polish nationals, 178 of other nationalities and the remainder comprising Germans abroad.
