More than 800 delegates to the annual conference of the Jewish National Fund of Britain were told here that JNF income during the past year reached a record total of 917,000 pounds ($2,567,000)
Greetings were read from Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion; Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Zionist Organization; Israel Finance Minister Levi Eshkol, and others. Speakers included Arthur Lourie, Israel’s Ambassador to Britain; Chief Rabbi Israel Brodie; Yaacov Tsur, chairman of the JNF board in Jerusalem; and Barnett Janner, president of the Board of British Deputies.
