The King-Hall Newsletter reported today that 800 suicides were recorded in the 24 hours preceding entry of the German army into Paris. Of this number 300 were reportedly Jewish refugees from Germany and Poland.
During the first 48 hours of the German occupation, the Newsletter said, there were 18,000 arrests.
An anti-Jewish publication called France at Work has made its appearance in Paris, it was reported today. It is one of several new newspapers being published in Paris.
