Nine Jewish and four other charities will benefit equally from the estate of Herman Littman, late New York investor, who died October 5. He left all but $100 of his estate of $360,296 to his mother and sisters. His mother having since died his sisters get the money which on their death passes to the charities mentioned in his will.
They are the Home for the Aged and Infirm Hebrews, the Downtown Talmud Torah, Hebrew Technical Institute, Beth Abraham Home for Incurables, the Home of the Daughters of Jacob, Blythedale Home, Beth Israel Hospital, Hebrew Sheltering and Guardian Home, Convalescent Home for Hebrew Children, Salvation Army, St. Johns Guild and the Association for Improving the Condition of the Poor.
