Two Jewish students of the Polytechnicum Institute in Lwow are in the hospital today suffering from serious wounds inflicted during an anti-Jewish riot which broke out Friday and during which seven other Jewish students were wounded. As a result of the renewed disturbances the institute was closed today.
Three Endeks (members of the anti-Semitic National Democratic Party) yesterday began serving three-week terms of “compulsory detention” to which they were sentenced Friday by a Warsaw summary court for participating in the recent anti-Jewish excesses and breaking windows of Jewish shops.
