Some 920 immigrants arrived in Israel during July, a Jewish Agency spokesman announced today on the basis of preliminary figures.
The spokesman reported that groups of Jews from India and Persia are expected to arrive this month. He said that some 200 Jews are still trudging through the deserts of Yemen seeking a way to Israel and that a party of 24 Yemenite Jews recently reached haven in Aden where they are now awaiting transportation to Israel.
