A $1.8 million grant aims to help Hebrew schools from three denominations in the New York area. The grant from the UJA-Federation of New York will help establish the Leadership Institute for Congregational School Principals, a joint project of the Reform movement’s Hebrew Union-Jewish Institute of Religion and the Conservative movement’s Jewish Theological Seminary.
