A 19-year-old Israeli soldier wanted in connection with a beating murder in a Toronto park was extradited to Canada, where he faces a charge of second-degree murder. Daniel Weiz, whose father lives in Toronto, had been fighting the extradition for months. Under the terms of a new Israeli extradition law, Weiz may be tried abroad and, if convicted, would serve his sentence in Israel.
