It being an old adage that actions speak louder than words, I commend to the consideration of all thoughtful Jews the gift of $50,000 by the American Relief Administration we have just received, and in that connection hand you herewith the following letter just received :

James N. Rosenberg, Chairman New York Allied Jewish Camapign, 165 Broadway, New York, N. Y. Dear Mr. Rosenberg:
This will acknowledge the receipt of your letter of June 10 in which you call our attention to the requests for money which you are receiving from Europe to care for the work you are carrying on there, particularly among children.
We, therefore, take pleasure in complying with your request for payment of the contribution of $50,000.00, as publicly announced by Edgar Rickard at the meeting held in honor of Felix M. Warburg on May 27, by enclosing our check for $50,000.00 drawn to the order of the New York Allied Jewish Campaign.
In order that our files may be complete, will you be kind enough to acknowledge receipt.

In the great industrial city of Lodz in Poland, official reports of two weeks ago showed that full time employment of workers in the mills was only 8% of capacity. Does not this colorless statistical fact give at least a glimpse of the horrors which our fellow Jews are undergoing in Poland?
