The 65th birthday of A. Almi, noted Jewish poet and essayist, was marked here today with articles devoted to his literary activities which go back 50 years to when he published his first poem in a Jewish newspaper in Warsaw. Mr. Almi, who came to the United States in 1912, is the author of 25 volumes, three of them in English. His memoirs, in three volumes, in Yiddish, Hebrew and English, are now being published by a special committee.
