A bond of $5,000 was filed in the United States District Court Friday morning for Societe Cooperative Vigneronne des Grandes Caves Richon-le-Zion, thus enabling the firm to import its sacramental wines from Palestine.
The bond was ordered by Federal Judge John M. Woolsey last Tuesday, following the arguments of Isaac Cohen, counsel for the Mizrach Wine Co. which is involved in litigation with the Societe Cooperative over priority to the use of the term “Carmel” on their respective trademarks.
