A breakaway Palestinian group said it would join the cease-fire. In a statement released Sunday, the Popular Resistance Committees, a coalition of Palestinians mainly from Yasser Arafat’s Fatah movement, said it would join the week-old truce. But a spokesman for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine said his group would not join the cease-fire.
