A bus carrying Israelis on a singles excursion to northern Israel skidded off a rain-slicked road and overturned in a ravine Saturday, killing 15 passengers and injuring 39 others. The accident near Tiberias occurred because the road was slippery from Israel’s first rain in months. Police investigators said the driver was traveling under the legal speed limit, but was moving too fast given road conditions.
