A campaign to raise $135,000 to erect a new temple and community center was launched here by Anshe Chesed Congregation.
The structure of the new building is to be of Italian architecture with Eastern influence and will include all modern features of new synagogue construction, the officers of the congregation announced, Samuel D. Ostrow is chairman of the campaign.
