A center to research issues involving the Bedouin in Israel was dedicated at Ben-Gurion University in the Negev. The center is an effort to develop information and data about the Bedouin, who have experienced “the greatest discrimination that’s been going on for 50 years,” according to Robert Arnow, chairman of the board emeritus of the American Associates of Ben-Gurion University and a force behind the center. Moshe Arens is the chairman of the advisory committee of the new center.
