A check for $5,000 was among the gifts presented to Rabbi Julius Silberfeld, of Newark, N. J., on the occasion of his celebration of twenty-five years’ service as spiritual leader of Temple B’nai Abraham of that city. At the banquet marking the celebration, Monsignor John A. Duffy, vicar general of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Newark, and Bishop Coadjutor Stearly of the Episcopal Diocese, were among the speakers.
