A Chicago couple launched a scholarship project for Israeli soldiers. Al and Pat Frank are underwriting four-year tuition scholarships for 200 Israeli men and women who have completed their service in Israel’s army. The program, which will cost a total of $16,000 per student, is being conducted under the auspices of the Chicago chapter of the Friends of the Israeli Defense Forces.
