A conference of Jewish communities in Old Roumania will be convoked shortly, it was stated here today.
The purpose of the conference will be to discuss the manner of representation of the Jewish faith in the Roumanian senate. The appointment of Rabbi Niemirover as member of the senate seems to be certain.
The conference will also discuss the legal status of the Jewish communities in Roumania and the rights of the Jewish schools to grant diplomas to their students.
